Nia Robinson is a Junior at Jones College Prep High School in Chicago, Illinois. During her sophomore year, she started a Key Club chapter to promote and develop service and leadership. The club quickly became the largest club in her school with more than ten percent of her classmates becoming members.
Robinson won the Distinguished President Award in March 2017 and she now serves on the Regional Board as Lieutenant Governor, covering the clubs in the Chicago city division. She also writes articles about financial literacy and economics for On the Money, a magazine for-teens, by-teens magazine distributed to more than 8,000 students in the Chicago area. Robinson is an Ambassador for the Junior Economic Club of Chicago and GenHERation. Recently, she spoke as a Student Speaker at the Junior Achievement Chicago Business Hall of Fame. At present, she is focusing on the college application process and continues to volunteer, growing her Chicago community. |
