Christopher Gebhardt is founder of Stir Strategy and Story, a social impact and innovation firm that helps corporations, foundations, non-profits, and philanthropists unlock the power of storytelling to drive impact. Stir develops impact and purpose strategies, creates content and manages programs.

Gebhardt was with Participant Media for eight years leading its digital and consulting services arm. Clients included American Express, Disney, Intel, Starbucks, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, MacArthur Foundation and Omidyar Network, as well as digital activation for Participant films such as Waiting for Superman, Food Inc., Contagion and The Cove.

Prior to joining Participant, Gebhardt ran his own startup media and marketing strategy firm with clients that included Ogilvy & Mather, Gap, Cisco, Mattel, Conservation International, LeBron James, Live Earth and Voce. He also headed up efforts in emerging technology and innovation for Ogilvy North America, ran Ogilvy’s Digital Brands Group; was brand manager at Pepsi; and a consulting associate at Coopers & Lybrand.
