Nely Galán is a self-made media mogul. She was the first Latina President of Entertainment for a US television network (Telemundo). She is an Emmy Award-winning producer of more than 700 episodes of television in Spanish and English, which she produced through her multimedia company, Galán Entertainment.
Galán is also the founder of the nonprofit The Adelante Movement, which seeks to empower and train Latinas economically and entrepreneurially. She is the author of The New York Times bestselling SELF MADE: Becoming Empowered, Self-Reliant, and Rich in Every Way, published by Random House in 2016, about the revolution in women’s entrepreneurship led by multicultural women in the US and emerging women around the world. |
