Polly Flinn is an accomplished Senior Marketing and Operations Executive who has worked on national as well as global projecgct, helping build major brands and leading multi-format and multi-channel businesses. Her experience ranges from convenience and big box consumer retail to strategic sales customer relationships with large-scale OEMs such as Ford and BMW. She has been an e-commerce leader leveraging physical and digital channels.
Flinn is a Senior Vice President and General Manager at US food retailer Giant Eagle. Prior to that, she spent three years at Walmart developing the strategy for entry into the gasoline and convenience retailing segment. She also led the Great Lakes Division, managing 40,000 employees. At BP, where Flinn was CMO, she led marketing, operations, strategy and finance functions and helped rebuild BP’s reputation after the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. Before BP, she served as CMO for Castrol, Flinn has also built and executed convenience retail businesses worldwide, accountable for strategy, image development and the launch of new or contemporized brands for several major corporations. |
