Guy Kezirian, MD, MBA, FACS is a board-certified ophthalmologist living in Scottsdale, Arizona.
His work focuses on system change for the global delivery of surgery as the primary treatment of refractive errors and cost-effective models of cataract surgery to eliminate global blindness.
Kezirian is the Founder of the Refractive Surgery Alliance and sits on the Board of the Himalayan Cataract Project.
Kezirian is President of SurgiVision® Consultants, Inc., an ophthalmic consulting and research firm that administered the first FDA approvals for LASIK in the late 1990s, followed by many other FDA approvals thereafter. SurgiVision® currently provides the ophthalmic industry with the DataLink series of software products that provide web-based surgical planning and clinical outcomes analysis for refractive surgery.
He is the author of more than 20 peer-reviewed
publications and has received several awards from various ophthalmic societies for his work.
His book, Grades Equal Money, is directed at improving academic performance in high school students.
Kezirian earned his MBA at Kellogg and currently sponsors the PHYSICIAN CEO® program at Kellogg, which provides accelerated business and leadership training exclusively for physicians.
